About US

     Today, the key personnel of the MIMAR team consist of 35 registered architects, specialized facility assessment experts, interior designers/ space planners, specification writers, graphic designers, and professional mechanical, electrical, civil, structural engineers, and cost estimators backed by our highly qualified technical CADD/BIM technicians and 3D Modelers/ rendering artist and administrative staff (including a CPA certified accountant). Therefore, MIMAR is equipped to run multiple, small, and large tasks on parallel tracks, and can apply the broadest spectrum of expertise to this contract to meet the precise demands which may not yet be clear and are perhaps wide-ranging. The professional leadership of the project team is committed to advancing the quality and completeness of design. This demands multidisciplinary involvement with regards to coordination, constructability, and code compliance.

     In our twenty – two (22) year history, Mimar has completed the rehabilitation, addition and construction of architectural/engineering projects, from minor scopes of work to complete renovations to new construction, ranging in construction cost from a few thousand dollars to forty-two million dollars. Our portfolio is comprised of historic facilities, industrial facilities, administrative facilities, warehouses and other storage and support facilities unique to federal DoD and non DoD agencies. Our experience with these type of facilities makes our professionals proficient at developing unique solutions to your projects. For that, we have received numerous letters of commendation that acknowledge the quality of our service, professional approach, project thoroughness and quick response time.

 

     Our clientele consists of more than 25 Local, State, and Federal Agencies and 20 of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the U.S. Currently, Mimar is collaboratively working with several federal, state, and local government entities on projects for A/E services, including federal contracts for US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Air force, the Department of Energy, Department of Veterans Affairs ( Baltimore, Perry Point MD, and DC), US General Services Administration (GSA}, NAVFAC Mid - Atlantic NE Region, the Department of Justice - Federal Bureau of Prisons Mid-Atlantic Region, Department of Homeland Security, and the AmeriCorps (National Civilian Community Corps). In addition to state contracts with the Maryland Department of General Services, the City of Baltimore, the Maryland Aviation Administration, Maryland Transit Administration, Maryland Transportation Authority, Maryland Port Administration, the Maryland Stadium Authority, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission – Montgomery County & Prince George’s County, University System of Maryland, Prince George’s County Redevelopment Authority, the City of Gaithersburg, and the City of District Heights.

     An essential element of our team's philosophy is our commitment to deliver every project on time and within budget. We implement a peer review process at every phase, conducted by senior personnel to ensure quality and adherence to all performance schedules.
