Construction Management

During the Construction phase, MAI follows a strict process of documenting any changes, and remains on the project, along with the Project Manager and technical Engineers/Architects, so that they are available to respond to questions pertaining to design quality or revisions. A Project Manager is involved throughout construction to check all sample submissions against the Project Technical Specifications, which are produced during the documentation phase.

Teamwork with the construction contractor is crucial to the success of the project. As your Engineer/Architect of Record, we prepare the detailed documents, but ultimately, the contractor provides the "brush strokes on our painting" that will become your great completed project. We know how to work with the owner and the contractor in a team environment to deliver your building on time and within budget. We address any problems proactively with direct and open communication to minimize impacts to the schedule and budget without compromising the quality and integrity of the design.
