Mimar Architects, Inc. (MAI) is a 17 year-old architectural / engineering firm with a design staff of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, master-planning, architectural / interior design personnel and facilities assessment experts. Our projects include public, private and corporate clientele and range from residential projects to complex institutional commissions to innovative retail designs for large-scale commercial projects. MAI is incorporated in the State of Maryland and registered with the State Board of Architects. MAI is also incorporated in various other states as a foreign corporation as well as with various other State Boards of Architects. We are a certified MBE/SDBE firm with several State and local municipalities/agencies including MDOT, VDOT and PENNDOT, MWAA and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority as well as having our SWaM certification in Virginia.
